IT Day is a sports and entertainment event that we organize every year in early spring at one of the farms (local: salaš) in Subotica, where we gather all IT professionals from our city in one place. This way, we aim to create a positive environment in Subotica when it comes to this field, provide an opportunity for informal networking, and build a united and motivated community that will support the vision and projects of IT Subotica 2030 through their participation. Attendance at IT Day is not conditioned by membership in the organization.
At the first event in May 2022, about 200 IT professionals from fifteen companies gathered. We organized competitions in football, basketball, volleyball, tennis, and visitors also had the opportunity to try archery (bow and arrow) and test their agility by walking on stilts.
In the second part of the farm (local: salaš), a gaming set was set up where a competition in playing various video games was held, and visitors had fun with DDR machines, Asseto Corsa, Omni Virtuix, drones, and more.
All of this was accompanied by delicious food and drinks, and a party was held in the evening.
